Happy Release Day to author Kathryn R. Biel on her latest novel New Attitude! New Attitude is the second novel in the New Beginnings series, which follows the first story called Made For Me. Check out my review for Made for Me and scroll on to read my review on her new novel New Attitude.
New Attitude by Kathryn R. Biel
New Attitude is a wonderful continuation of the series. This time it’s from Kira’s perspective. Her life is a complete mess right now, but there is a bright spot in her life (and I’m not just talking about her ever-changing rainbow colored hair!). She gets to go to the royal wedding with Michele. After she gets home from that, her efforts are spent trying to get out of the rut she’s in because every area of her life is in trouble and her creativity isn’t where it was at before she was on the show. Insert exciting life-changing news, and an interesting flirtation and you’ve got yourself set up for an entertaining story.
One of the main themes of the story is not jumping to conclusions because things aren’t’ always how they seem at first look. It’s important to give people a chance and sometimes all you need is a new attitude and outlook on life. This was a charming story and I can’t wait for the next one!
I received a complimentary review copy via the author. All reviews 100% reflect my honest opinion.
Title: New Attitude – New Beginnings Book #2
Author: Kathryn R. Biel
Published: March 14, 2017
Book Blurb: As if it’s not bad enough that I didn’t win the reality design TV show I was on, try coming home to a one word note indicating that my ten-year marriage is over. So here I am, a suddenly single mother in my mid-thirties, doing what everyone advises me to do—have a fling. Except it doesn’t go as planned, so I do the next best thing, which is sit on the couch and mope. But having to provide for a five-year-old doesn’t let me stay home for too long. Before I know it, I’m back to dying my hair wild colors and trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life.
Except Tony, the fling that wasn’t, keeps popping up in the most unlikely places and won’t leave me alone. I’d like to be strong—I’m way too old for him—but he’s cute and funny and sexy and oh, my ex is getting married to a girl named Bambi. All I know is the way I’m doing things isn’t working. If I want to be happy again, I’m going to need to get a new attitude.

Today marks the beginning of a new professional adventure for me. I recently left my job for a new opportunity that presented itself in my life and I could not be more excited to take the first steps on my new path!
As you read this, I am already being immersed in my new role and will be enthusiastically soaking up as much new information as I can manage. Thank goodness for my blog’s ability to schedule posts ahead of time through WordPress. Without it, you wouldn’t be reading this right now!
In a few days time, July will be upon us and half of 2015 will officially be gone. It never fails to amaze me how quickly the time goes by and how important it is to make the most of every moment.
July is a time of new beginnings for me. Not only have I taken the first steps on a new professional path, but I’ve also updated my blog content. I originally started off Living Life With Joy with the intention of creating a lifestyle blog. Up until this point, I’ve mostly shared book reviews, author interviews and inspirational quotes. I’ve recently decided to add a bit more variety to my blog content by adding beauty posts and product reviews.
As we go forward into the second half of the year, I invite you to follow me on my journey through life and I hope that you will discover new books, blogs and beauty products that excite you through my posts. Thank you for following my blog and browsing through! I always appreciate feedback and hope that you find inspiration through my blog content. ❤

This week is going to fly by in a flash for two very exciting reasons…
Today marks the countdown for the last week in my current job. After Friday, I will no longer be with the company I’ve been at for the past year and a half. I’ve accepted an opportunity in a completely different field of business. I’m exited at this new path that I am taking in my professional life and can’t even tell you how much I am looking forward to the change. When I put in my two weeks’ notice, I cushioned in two weeks after that before beginning my new job. That way I could take a much needed [and deserved] vacation before jumping in to my new position. It’s so incredibly important to be able to hit the pause button every so often, and this is the perfect time for me to take a quick breather. This brings me to the reason why I’m giddy with anticipation of… taking a vacation next week!
As a birthday gift to me and to properly celebrate my new job, my mother and I have officially booked a room and are set to take a vacation next week. She’s my favorite travel companion and this getaway has ours names written all over it. I can’t wait to sit out at the gorgeous pool all day, do nothing and then go shopping and eat. This will be the first real vacation I’ve taken in about three years, so yes, I’m long overdue to take a vacay!
Between the excitement of finishing out at my current job and the anticipation of taking a vacation, this week is going to fly by in a flash. Now all that’s left to do is pack my bags and make sure I don’t forget the sunscreen! ❤
