Arielle’s Review Notes
Book Format & Source: Paperback via Berkley Romance. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Quick Take: I quickly found myself loving this book after only one chapter and it completely lived up to the hype for me throughout the whole story! Such a great rom-com pick. I loved the relationship that blossoms between these two.
Stresses the importance of getting to truly know a person if you’re going to fall in love. The importance of honesty and loyalty. I loved how passionate Liv is about everything. So full of life and joy, despite having such bad luck and essentially being a bit of a klutz.
I could totally picture this being made into a Hallmark Channel book to movie, which is of course, my favorite!
My Review Rating: 5 / 5 – I loved it!
Recommendation: To lovers of romance, Hallmark Channel, and all the tropes below!
Romance Steam Rating & Tropes: PG13 – talks about sex but not overly descriptive scenes. Romance tropes: secret identity, brother’s best friend, enemies to lovers.
About the Author – From Bookshop.org
Lynn Painter lives with her husband and pack of wild children in Nebraska, where she is a weekly contributor to the Omaha World-Herald and an avid fan of napping. When working on a new book, she can often be found sound asleep on her office floor. Some might say she should grow up and stop randomly dozing off like she’s a toddler, but Lynn considers it part of her writing process.
