Arielle’s Review Notes
Book Format & Source: Paperback gifted via BookSparks. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Quick Take:First Date Stories is a compilation of different stories, quotes, and dating tips, takeaways, and reminders. Juxtaposition of stories of caution and stories of the beginning of a happily ever after.
Although I’m no longer on the dating scene I did date for quite a period of time when online dating was in full force and I absolutely do not envy women that are currently actively dating. It’s exhausting! I’m so incredibly lucky to have found my person and my heart goes out to those that are in the dating season of their lives.
I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it. It was a relatively quick read and may be better suited for those that are single as you will likely find more connection and relevance in this book if you’re actively dating.
My Review Rating: 3 / 5
Recommendation: For women in their 30s+ that are actively dating.
Quote: It’s often through storytelling that we connect and gain guidance, validation, and empathy. Reading other women’s tales will help you attain perspective on your own dates. This book exists to entertain, educate, and motivate you. It’s here to help you approach your dating journey with confidence and lessen any frustration, or sense of isolation, that may set in. I want all daters to believe that they will find love, no matter how unlikely it may seem at times.
