Arielle’s Review Notes
Book Format & Source: digital ARC via the author. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Quick Take: I enjoyed the writing but was hoping for a longer story. I enjoyed the characters and there were aspects of the story that made me laugh but I felt like there could have been more focus on developing the characters and the story.
After reading the book I realized that it was initially a novella from the Female MC perspective and that the author updated it to add in the male’s perspective. I enjoyed the dual perspectives and now understand why it was shorter than a regular novel but not as short as a novella.
Themes & Topics: bullying, losing a loved one, fraud.
3.75 / 5
Steam Rating: PG
Tropes: Enemies to Lovers
Recommendation: Good pick for fans of novellas, shorter reads, and clean romance.
