8. Addison Cole
Addison Cole is the sweet alter ego pen-name for the Sweet with Heat versions of sexy novels by Melissa Foster. ‘She writes humorous and emotional sweet contemporary romance.’ If you want romance that doesn’t include full bedroom scenes then this is the author for you! There’s tons of fun series to get lost in although they are written to be read as stand-alone so you can pick up any pick whenever you feel like it and not be totally lost.
9. Geralyn Corcillo
Geralyn’s works include a fantastic collection of fun girly chick-lit filled with unique characters and heart-warming stories. Do yourself a favor and go read everything she’s written! Fun fact – a quote from one of my book reviews is featured on the top of her website!!

12. Jenny Hale
Jenny has a great collection of holiday chick-lit/romance novels and mainly focuses on summer at the beach and white Christmases. Fun fact – ‘The film adaptation of her novel Coming Home for Christmas was part of Hallmark Channel’s 2017 lineup.’

Nikki’s a woman after my own heart; ‘When she isn’t sitting behind her laptop constructing new adventures, she’s chasing her two little girls, brewing a pot of her current favorite tea, or admiring a fine glass of Pinot Noir.’ Nikki’s books are just like her – fun and intriguing. Samantha is not only a great author but she’s also a social media lioness and beauty blogger and you can find her over at Chick Lit Plus. Her books mostly fall into the women’s fiction category but she’s also got a new series out about six friends that is filled with drama and lots of excitement.

18. Meredith Schorr
‘Meredith found her calling writing smart, sassy romantic comedy, women’s fiction, and contemporary young adult fiction.’ Similar to some of the other authors listed I haven’t read everything Meredith has written but I’ve loved what I have read. Her book The Boyfriend Swap was so incredibly entertaining!
19. Sue Watson
I discovered Sue Watson’s books through NetGalley and am so grateful I did! Her books are fun and flirty and tend to have the main character be a fierce woman in her second wind of adulthood rather than her character’s being in their early 30’s. Her books are refreshing and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a laugh and a bit of romance!
Thank you so much for including my books on this list. I share some of your favorites 🙂
Thank you, thank you! What an honor to be on this list. Hugs from San Diego.
I actually haven’t heard of any of these authors before! But thank you for your suggestions! I’m not an avid reader, but it’s my goal to read 12 books this year, so I’ll definitely be looking into these!
-Madi xo
Thank you for soo many recommendations of books!! I’m a sucker for romance so I’m excited to start at least one of these series.
Im not usually a fan of romance, I find it too predictable but some of these look like I should branch out
Oh my! *squeals* as a bookworm this post is just a thrill. For starters, I’ll start with Meredith’s The Boyfriend Swap then work my way from there because I’ve bookmarked this post. Thanks so much.
