My Review:
Another 5 star read from the lovely pen-name Addison Cole. If you’re looking for a sweet love story without the major blush-worthy steamy bedroom scenes, this is the book for you. It’s part of the Seaside Summer series and I highly recommend you check out the whole series.
Seized by Love at Seaside focuses on the love story of Lizzie Barber and Blue Ryder. Lizzie is a strong independent woman and she’s been avoiding Blue’s flirtatious advances for almost a year. Although you truly have to admire Lizzie’s work ethic, it’s sad that she’s kept a huge secret that she hasn’t shared with anyone in her life, not even her sister or her best friend!
“No, fate and destiny were not her friends. They were notions that people who had it all believed in. She believed in creating her own life. Making life happen the way she wanted, with her own determination and sheer will.”
Can Lizzie fit Blue into her life when it’s filled with a deep secret that no one knows? One of the major themes of this novel is that true love is unconditional and you have to be honest with the people in your life that you care about because if you can’t be honest with them, can you ever truly be yourself?
