Valentine’s Day is coming up in two weeks and chances are you might not have gotten a gift for your significant other yet. In case you’re looking for a little inspiration on what to get your guy, I’ve come up with a few ideas that should do the trick.

Sweet Gifts
1. Coupon books: coupon books are a fun, cute, simple way to show someone you care, but be willing to do whatever the coupons call for! Don’t buy the book if it has a coupon that you’ll give him a back rub if you won’t actually give him one.
A few ideas:
2. Cologne: cologne is a great gift since it’s both practical and sweet. He’ll think of you every time he spritzes it on, and it’s a good opportunity to show him what scents you like on him. Also practical if you’ve been together a long time and you can see he’s almost out of his.
A few ideas:
Practical Gifts
3. Sweaters: Your guy looks sharp in a nice sweater and can never have too many. Pick up a sweater from Target’s new line for gentlemen and you’ll both be a happy camper.
A few ideas:
4. Scarves: solids, plaids and color-blocking are good go to options and they’re always useful, even if you live where it’s warm since most offices are cold inside with the a/c running.
A few ideas:
5. Watch: A watch can be a bit of a splurge but if your man normally gets you nice jewelry it’s not a bad idea to reciprocate by getting him a nice watch this year. One of my favorite watch styles for men are leather straps. You can find great options at Amazon and Target or you can even find a great deal on Poshmark. Interesting Gifts
6. Bar cart items: like square ice-cube trays, classy whiskey drinking glasses, or bar accessory kits are great options for the guy that enjoys drinking but doesn’t already own these.
A few recommendations:
7. Game Night: Game nights are a great way to spend an evening in with friends. You have fun and save tons of money since you’re not paying three times the price for all those bottles of wine you end up opening. Table Topics for Couples is a fun idea but any game that you don’t own is a fun option. Great game night options include games that can be played with 4 people or with a crowd: Cards Against Humanity, Joking Hazard, What Do You Meme, etc.
A few recommendations:
8. Books: If he enjoys reading he might enjoy a recent release by a favorite author, a best-seller in the genre he enjoys, or an interesting personal development book. If he’s not an avid-reader, you could pick up a cool coffee table type book based on mixing drinks or something else he’s interested in.
A few recommendations:
DIY / Personalized Gifts
9. DIY Coupons: DIY Coupons are great in lieu of buying a pre-made coupon booklet. You have endless options when making a coupon yourself; lunch or evening date ideas, weekend away, dinner and a movie, etc. It’s cuter to give him a coupon that’s good for dinner and a movie than just giving him a gift-card or movie tickets. There’s tons of DIY fill in the blank type coupon options, including a sexy set if you’re in the mood!
A few ideas:
10. Photo books and gifts: Photo gifts are one of my favorite ways to give a personal gift. Chatbooks has inexpensive photo book options that are easy and quick to make and sites like Snapfish have tons of photo gift ideas including coffee mugs, magnets, notebooks, phone cases, pillows and blankets. If he’s an avid coffee drinker, maybe make a cute coffee mug. If you’ve got space on the couch maybe a fun pillow or blanket is a good option.
A few ideas:
11. Mason Jar Date Night Ideas: How often do you do date nights? Maybe come up with 24 fun date ideas so that you have inspiration twice a month to reminder yourselves to get out and do something together. Search through Pinterest for tons of fun ideas! Or you could always buy a pre-made set.
A few ideas:
Fail-Proof Classics
12. A little something sexy for you. Whether you’re in the beginning stages of a relationship or you’ve been together for years, your man will always appreciate seeing you in a little something sexy. It’s a win-win since it’s something you’ll both appreciate. Get yourself something lacy or silky in black or red!
A few ideas:
13. Make him a delicious dinner at home. Unless you’re a truly terrible cook, your man will always appreciate a yummy home-cooked meal. Buy a new cookbook and try out a delicious recipe. Don’t forget to light candles and open a bottle of wine!

Awesome post.
I do enjoy cologne and watch gifts , at least when I was in a relationship.
Other thoughtful gifts would be redeemable vouchers and cool knick knacks for my space, like a pen holder for the office , or a dandy clock.
Great post.

I am going to take your advice and make some coupons for my husband. I can think of so many things that he would like me to get done plus it is a good way to make time together,
These are all great ideas! Men can be so challenging to buy gifts for. I love the coupon books and the photo books. Custom gifts are always my favorite.

My husband and I don’t do Valentine’s gifts for each other much anymore, but I used to get him a pair of boxers and he would get me some chocolate. These are all wonderful ideas that almost any man would enjoy!
The scarves will be perfect for this cold winter. We usually go for dinner, but we don’t really exchange gifts for Valentine, maybe we should reinitiate this habit.
I love the idea of a board game but that also simultaneously makes me feel so old
Thanks so much for all the incredible ideas. And it’s Valentines day already?? We usually don’t go out because of the rush but love to have a romantic date at home. Maybe I could use the recipe book this time.
Terrific ideas!
You have two of my gifts on that list: I got a new Indian Instant Pot cookbook. He loves Indian – so I am making a delicious meal for him. And I got him a photobook of our recent honeymoon. After 10 years of marriage, we finally got to take one!
Giving my Husband gifts is always a struggle. Thank you for the list, it will help me narrow down some choices.
These are all great ideas! I never know what to get my husband for Valentine’s Day.

All of these are so very cool. As I guy I heartily approve of all the gifts here. The only thing that makes me sad are the watches. I love a beautiful watch but I have issues with my wrist and the metal on watches. It always gets irritated. 🙁
This is a great list! My husband and I don’t exchange Valentine’s Day gifts however this year I want to make a cute photo project or something from our baby girl!
those are all great gift ideas for the man of the house! I’m sure the favorite for most guys would be the lingerie ~ha! love the shirts and scarf for those men, I usually buy them things they wouldn’t want to buy for themselves (like nice/comfortable clothing!)
These are some great gift ideas. My favorite one that I would love to give to my husband is the sweaters:
Yes!! Nailed it with this round up. My husband is all about the games, cologne and watches! His collections are pretty large so I’ll have to find some he doesn’t have BUT! Perfect ideas.
These are all great ideas! I love the thought of a coupon book… it’s like a gift that keeps on giving. 😉

Shopping for him is so hard! Thanks for the suggestions. A watch is always in style!
Thanks for the ideas <3
Awesome list! I like your watch recommendation but yes… can be pricey, so I was thinking about a watch display box to keep his current watches looking fly. Lol. Thanks for your list!
I love the scarves. They really dress up a coat.
