Today I’m going to share a short and sweet book review on a newly released novel called ‘The Silence of the Snakes’ written by Ruby Loren. <3
The Silence of the Snakes by Ruby Loren
My Review:
I enjoyed this story as much as the first, if not more. I really like the author’s writing style and this is a great example of what a cozy mystery should look like. Filled with a few new zoo animals and lots of chaos and drama, this book was thoroughly entertaining. I personally have always loved snakes and loved that snakes played a large role in this book. The ending was interesting and I liked the way all the details were spun throughout the story and neatly finished at the end. I also liked that there was a bit of romance thrown into the mix. I’m hoping there will be another in the series!
My Rating: 5/5 Stars

About the Book
Title: The Silence of the Snakes (Madigan Amos Zoo Mystery #2)
Author: Ruby Loren
Published: September 5, 2017
Book Blurb: Madigan Amos is on her second-ever zoo consulting job, reviewing animal welfare conditions to recommend improvements. She didn’t expect it to include lions attacking one of the keepers, a series of thefts from the mansion of the family that owns the zoo, having a sick green mamba turned over to her by a stranger, or a woman dead of an ax to the head. She’s not at all sure she’s going to get out of Snidely Wildlife and Safari alive.
