Month in Review – July

Today I’m sharing my July wrap-up of the books I read and standout products that I loved. I didn’t quite realize that I’ve read so many books this year so far. At the end of 2016 I set a goal for myself to read 52 books in 2017 and about a week ago I’d already met my goal for the year… with 5 months left to go!

I’m proud to say that I think this is the first time in a long time that I’ve reviewed all the books I’ve read in the month prior. Scroll on and click the links below to read my reviews of the books I read in July. This month I had a book that goes with the saying ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover’. The Sunshine Sisters by Jane Green looks like a fun beachy read but it’s not even close to being of that genre. Not that it wasn’t a good read, but I’d be willing to bet there are quite a few people that picked it up for a light read and were surprised once they started reading. Other than the genre surprise, they were all great reads and I couldn’t possibly pick a favorite! To note, there is a book in the mix that’s by a debut author named Aimee Brown that you really should check out.

Beauty Product

In July I got to try a new product for testing purposes from Influenster. I don’t mind washing my hair every other day or so, but I generally refuse to style my hair with heat and usually go the air-drying route.
