Review – Bored of the Rings

Bored of the Rings by Rich Amooi

My Review:

Here’s another romantic comedy winner from Rich Amooi. The author consistently writes books that are entertaining and have me laughing and immersed in the story from page one. Bored of the Rings was filled with humor, love and laughter, paired with themes of living for today without worrying so much about tomorrow when it comes to love.

Bored of the Rings is a classic Amooi novel (there’s a reason people call him the King of Romantic Comedies!) and I highly recommend it to all who love chick-lit, rom-com, and fun books that make you laugh out loud. Basically, that includes everyone, right?! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and can’t wait for his next one! If you haven’t read any of his stories, do yourself a favor and sign up for his newsletter, you’ll get a free copy of a novella and I believe you’ll get access to purchase his new e-books at a discount the week they get published.

My Rating: 5/5 Stars

I received a complimentary review copy via the author. All reviews 100% reflect my honest opinion.

About the Book

Title: Bored of the Rings

Author: Rich Amooi

Published: April 30, 2017

Book Blurb: Two-time divorcee Abby Maxwell needs another man in her life like she needs a third butt cheek. Her eccentric, free-spirited Aunt Greta wholeheartedly disagrees and dishes out unsolicited dating advice based on her five marriages. But when a jaw-dropping gorgeous architect waltzes into town to build a resort on Abby’s favorite hiking spot, she will do anything to stop him, including befriending him.

Though Abby and James are at odds property-wise, things spice up in this fast-paced romantic comedy over late night Scrabble games and hotter-than-hell Chinese food, leaving Abby to wonder if the property that really needs protecting is the one around her heart.
