My Review
Anouk owns a small antique shop near the Eiffel Tower in Paris. She’s very particular about who she sells her antiques to because she wants to make sure the customer is reliable and that the items are going into good hands that will take care of them. With a terrible ex-boyfriend and an interesting new man in her life, Anouk leads quite an interesting life. Although Anouk is the leading lady in this story, my favorite character was Madame Dupont. Filled with spunk Madame Dupont is quite a character and offers many laughs throughout the story.
I enjoyed Anouk’s story, though I thought that there were too many clues included too early on. I was a bit disappointed to know so early on the who’s who of things, which made the mystery not as enthralling for me. Despite my minor disappointment, I thoroughly enjoyed Anouk’s passion for antiques, the stories behind them and the desire to find loving homes for the things that were so important in people’s lives.
