My Review

This charming novel continues June’s story from Tonya’s Magical Cures Mystery series. June lives in Whispering Falls with her new husband Oscar. They’re getting ready to leave on their honeymoon and have agreed to no magic while away. Despite their promises, they can’t seem to leave the magic at home and the suspense and chaos seems to follow them there. This story is filled to the brim with magic, love and secrets. Often times when people are presented with secrets and mystery they become so focused on finding the answers, that they miss out on seeing the good and following their intuition. Sometimes the people you think you know best are not what they seem and sometimes the opposite can be true too.

This book kept me engaged throughout the entire novel, from page one down to the very end. There were twists and turns throughout the story and a fun surprise ending. This novel made me wish I had a little magical gift of my own. Who wouldn’t like the ability to snap your fingers and get what you want?! I’d love a bottle of June’s special SPF lotion made just for me! Who wouldn’t be drawn in by all of the other wonderful magical things that are written into this novel?!

I’ve only just been introduced to June’s world and although this novel can be read alone, I’m going to work my way back through to the start of the series. I can’t wait to read it from the beginning!
