One of the most exciting things about being a blogger is getting to try new products… for free! There are a few companies that link up bloggers and brands and give them the opportunity to work together. As a blogger I get to try out free products and the brands get to widen their exposure through my review posts. I only reach out to companies that have products I would actually purchase or use myself and my reviews always reflect my 100% honest opinion.
One of the blogging communities that I’m a member of is called Bloggers Required. Through this community I was recently given the opportunity to try a health powder supplement called Lean Greens. What is it you might ask? Lean Greens is a dietary powder supplement that can be added to smoothies [or just mixed with water] for an assortment of fantastic health benefits.

My Review:
I’m personally a huge fan of healthy smoothies, especially when a little green is thrown in! [Missed my original green smoothie recipe? Check it out here] Adding greens to a smoothie is one of the easiest and tastiest ways to add healthy nutrition to your everyday diet but unfortunately keeping fresh greens on hand doesn’t always work out well for me. I have trouble keeping spinach in the house because it gets wet and spoils so quickly. When I heard about Lean Greens I knew that my smoothies were about to get a major face-lift!
Anyone that adds greens to their smoothies will know that you do taste it a little bit, but the green taste is not overwhelming or overpowering of the flavors that you mix it with. Before trying Lean Greens I thought that it might taste weird but after reading about the benefits I figured there was nothing to lose by trying it out. After adding Lean Greens to my morning smoothies for the past two weeks, I can tell you that the taste of this product is very similar to the fresh spinach and it doesn’t taste weird or different at all. I’m so happy I gave it a chance, and I highly recommend it to anyone that’s looking for an easy way to add green nutrition into their diet.
My Review Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
