Beauty Product Review | YSL Rouge Pur Couture

Today I’m thrilled to share my review for some seriously awesome beauty products. I was one of the lucky 2,000 ladies to receive the YSL Rouge Pur Couture VoxBox and was ecstatic when I found out I was going to be receiving another little black box!! YSL beauty products are infamous for their luxurious, high-quality products and I couldn’t wait to try these beauties out!

The YSL VoxBox contained two gorgeous YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipsticks. Everything about these lipsticks is stunning, glamorous and luxurious from the gold packaging to the YSL engraved on the lipstick to the quality of the lipsticks themselves. Opening up these boxes made me feel like it was my birthday, opening up a gorgeous gift!

The two YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipsticks that I received were #09 Rose Stiletto and #19 Fuchsia. Not only do they have pretty names, the colors are even prettier on.

The first color I tried was #09 Rose Stiletto. This is a beautiful color, almost like an enhanced neutral. Rose Stiletto can be worn with any makeup look (and I would imagine on any skin tone) to bring out the natural beauty of the wearer!

The second color I tried was #19 Fuchsia. This color is bright, bold and beautiful, but not for the faint of heart. This color is for those bold, brazen beauties looking for a gorgeous pop of color.

Both lipsticks went on with a smooth, bold, application and only left minimal lipstick marks on my coffee cup. They were long-lasting and stayed put while I drank my coffee and ate my breakfast and only needed to be re-applied after lunch. There was also no product residue buildup, which is one of my biggest lipstick pet peeves.

Overall, these lipsticks are total winners and a necessity in any makeup wardrobe. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a gorgeous lip color that doesn’t mind making the splurge!!
