Spring forward, Fall back. I’m not sure if I’m a big fan of daylight savings time. Sure when Fall rolls around, everyone is happy to gain back another hour to sleep in, but during Spring, we all hate to lose that extra hour. It takes a while to get your body back into the swing of things by waking up at the time that you wake up at naturally and for me, I always feel out of whack for a few days.
I’m glad to get an extra hour of sun in the evenings for a bit, but not looking forward to leaving work tomorrow morning while it’s still a little dark out. Knowing there’s nothing I can do, I just go with it and try to get back on track as quickly as possible.
On another note, I had an awesome weekend filled with hockey and roller-coasters. Friday night we went to a Ducks game and Saturday we went to Knott’s. My sister and I are members of the Anaheim Ducks Wild Wingers Kid’s Club and one of the perks is a free day at Knott’s Berry Farm. They had a few of the players participate in a Q&A and then we got to line up and get signatures. I got my favorite Ducks hat signed by Matt Belesky AND George Parros and got pictures with both!
After the signing, we spent the day zipping through a ton of the rides since we bought Fast Passes and didn’t have to wait in the lines. It was seriously the best thing ever! We went on rides from 3-7 p.m. and rode 12 rides. All things considered, it was one of the best days I’ve had in a while. Oh, and we ended the day with my first time having Shabu. Such a great experience, I highly recommend it to anyone that’s never tried it before. Looking forward to a week filled with Zumba and Yoga classes at the gym. <3
Sounds like a fun weekend. I love going to hockey games. 🙂
Thanks, it was a good weekend! What hockey team are you a fan of?
