Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s an Instagram Filter.
Instagram | #WomenIRL | Hashtag Campaign
My commentary: Instagram recently launched #WomenIRL (“Women in Real Life”), a hashtag campaign and Instagram account (@WomenIRL) focused on life’s unfiltered, real moments. I think it’s a wonderful idea and it’s vital to remember when you’re browsing others’ photos and feeling like you don’t measure up, that it’s very likely that strategic lighting and a well-selected Insta filter are working overtime to make some people appear flawless and gorgeous. That’s not to say that we should be jealous of others’ physical beauty, but come on, really? Everyone gets a little jealous now and then. And a lot of it isn’t real. Until they create Instagram filters for real life (though, I’m pretty sure that’s called makeup), I’m down for a little #WomenIRL action. <3
