Have you started off 2015 the way you were planning to? I sure haven’t.
No, it has nothing to do with health related resolutions failing to come to fruition before a week has even come and gone-though my gym sessions have been pushed to the side. The problem is that I started the new year off at a bit of a disadvantage when it comes to doing just about anything. I’ve been fighting a miserable cold for days and it’s been tough to feel like doing anything that requires more energy than rolling out of bed and plopping myself on the couch.
I was going to share my New Year’s Resolutions for 2015 with everyone today as my first Monday Musings post of the year, but because I’ve been sick, I haven’t really had the energy to decide what I want my resolutions to be this year. I want them to be well-thought out and concise, but at the same time, I want them to be realistic, yet not too easy. I want to have a few book and blogging related resolutions but I want to make a few professional and personal resolutions too. I’ve had no problem thinking about the types of resolutions I want to make, but since I’m sick and my head has been foggy for days, I don’t think I’m in the right mind-set to make any final decisions.
I’ve finally got my hands on an antibiotic to get rid of my sinus infection-you’d think people were asking for illegal drugs with how difficult it is to get a prescription. Why on earth would I want to take an antibiotic unless it was absolutely necessary to get better? They shouldn’t even require prescriptions for that kind of stuff, honestly, are people going to try to get high off of it? Not really sure why it’s prescription only. It should be available at the walk-up pharmacy the same way you can buy a box of 24-hour Mucinex pills when you have a head-cold.
End of story, I got my antibiotics and my fingers crossed that it’ll work it’s magic to make me feel better soon!
